 This is an interesting application and works as indicated. However, I was looking for something that gave me control over the Bass/Treble settings and this application doesn\'t seem to provide this functionality.
Z Volume Pro statement All I wanted was a sound icon that would replace the XP horn. Your program did not do that. It looks like your program doesn't even have right taskbar icon for ease of use. I got Volume Touch, which is exactly what I wanted.F

Very good piece of software. It did the work really well. The only problem that I had was that, because I chose to make the cloned partition bootable, XXCLONE made changes to the MBR (master boot record), which made it impossible for me to access my Ubuntu section. As a result of this I had to reinstall my Ubuntu grub, which was quite an ordeal. I suggest that XXCLONE adds the cloned bootable section to the MBR, but not change it completely. Otherwise, everything else went without a hitch.
 It worked out great
This software saved me from losing over 500gb of data. Thus, i must say it's a STUPID idea not to have this software on your machine at all times.Get a few harddrives, and clone your machine occassionally using XXCLONE - you will never have to worry about your computer's reliability ever again.
Me Bad - Program Great I downloaded XXCOPY in hopes of merging two disk drives together to solve a problem when MS Word decided to not work, I wanted to use the incremental part which I have used in the past, and it always worked great. saved me hundreds of dollars! I was looking at acronis server edition -- I wanted to clone my system disk so that I could quickly reboot if my system disk failed. I now have a cloned, spun-down disk in a SATA bay ready to be powered up and rebooted if my server fails -- perfect.
The only odd thing was that when I copied teh boot record to my new clone, for some reason the original disk would no longer boot. I copied boot records back to that one, and everything was fine. It's great that I don;t nee floppies or anything -- just ...
OK for moving your appli to large disk but... I have used xxclone to move my previous Windows XP system to a larger disk (300Gbytes).Globally I finally made it run, but I had to face some issues, some of them not really related to xxclone but mandatory for the achievement of the move :- xxclone offers the ability to move from FAT 32 to NTFS, but take care! the security features associated to NTFS, won't follow, then the only mode for running your new system will be to give administrator right to all users .... or to try to fine tune security right (I gave up).
